Combining warm walnut lower cabinets with the shiny white uppers is the perfect set up for our cool, 3 dimensional backsplash. Our kitchen would not be complete with out a wine station and lots of hidden storage.

For this complete exterior refresh we suggested cleaning up the landscape, cooling down the paint palette and building out the front entry doorframe to enhance the architecture and the curb appeal. In the backyard we beefed up the deck posts, overhauled the pool cabana's kitchen cabinets and streamlined the outdoor kitchen's paint scheme among other small touches.

We made this principal bath lighter and brighter using natural materials and new lighting. The sea-glass limestone sets off the glass shower accent wall beautifully while the sculpted edge tile anchors the tub. Using Slipper Satin No. 2004 by Farrow and Ball on the cabinets and a light wood-look porcelain on the floors blended all the colors together making this a relaxing get a way for our happy   clients.

We had so much fun taking this builder kitchen and turning it into an Italian wine loving alcove. The well-traveled client and I coined the look, New "Old World". The custom hood pairs nicely with the stone split-face walls while ample storage and state of the are cooking appliances make this room as functional as it is beautiful.

In this tranquil space we enlarged the walk in shower, added a soaking tub and raised the ceiling.  The beautiful natural materials enhance the experience.

We created this weekend retreat on Mission Bay with one goal, emphasize the beautiful original artwork from the owners mother. This Cape Cod inspired condo is bright and airy with lots of white custom molding detail, white cabinets and state of the art kitchen appliances. The challenge with concrete walls, floors and ceilings effected material choice and demanded extremely precise measuring, no room for error.

I’ve always dreamed of having a clean, modernist home, and I’m happy to say that Alice and her team at Atelier Cohen led the way to making that dream a reality! I couldn’t be more happy with the project, my house looks like it could be featured in a Kinfolk magazine. I expressed my wishes of having a clean, natural interior aesthetic and they truly delivered – the natural light in my newly designed home is to die for. They also helped me turn my dated, drab living room into a spacious and cozy space in which I can’t wait to host a party.
