MASSEY DESIGN GROUP Review Our son-in-law referred us to Mary and we are so pleased!!! We did a whole house remodel!!! Mary and her assistant Carly were truly fantastic!!! And she also put us in touch with a great General Contractor. Her ideas, design suggestions, guidance and the final outcome were better than we could have ever imagined!!!!! I told her my vision of our house being Greek Mediterranean…….colors of blues, whites and grays, open concept, sleek design and she truly nailed it!!!! She took us to many great stores and vendors (ie….all appliances, lighting, all fixtures for the kitchen and bathrooms, cabinets, flooring, carpets, tile, countertops, furniture, fireplace, window coverings, ceiling fans, staircase railings etc…) this would have been a very overwhelming experience…….but with Mary’s expertise it was so enjoyable and fun because she was able to narrow down the choices from literally hundreds to 2 or 3 great ones for us to decide from. She also helped us with all of our online purchases and was always able to provide us with 2 to 3 wonderful choices! She gave us the idea of a “flip out” window with a pass through in our kitchen to our beautiful back yard to go along with two sets of folding doors in the kitchen and the dining room. She gave me great advice and suggestions on how to set up our new home (ie…decorating, how to set everything up in the kitchen, master bath and any area I asked her). She designed a new fantastic functional laundry room with utility sink, new stacked washer and dryer and storage cabinet. She turned our old coat closet into a beautiful pantry! I enjoy making cocktails so she designed a beautiful bar with a wine fridge in our dinning room. Along with a new linear fireplace installed in the dining room with a fully tiled fireplace wall. She also helped us pick out some beautiful outdoor lighting. She made this huge project so easy and pleasant! If we had any questions, issues, concerns or opinions she was available any day and any time to discuss. Mary and Carly are so professional, down to earth, caring and fun!! My husband and I hired Mary to help us with our kitchen remodel. We're so glad we did. She made our experience so much less stressful. We have worked extensively over the years with Mary on six different areas of our home. She has patiently helped us turn our track home into our dream home with a custom look and feel. My husband and I are both engineers with not a designer bone between us. We were both reluctant to tackle any remodel. She was so patient and helpful throughout each project, we kept signing up for more. Her passion for her work is contagious and her product knowledge and eye for excellence are impressive. We wish we had another area we could remodel! We confidently recommend Massey Design for any size project. 1. Small bathroom: removed tub and replaced with shower, new floor, sink, toilet, fan, paint 2. Kitchen: turned dining room, living and family room and the kitchen into a great room. Removed walls, moved kitchen, all new appliances, flooring, lighting, custom cabinets, granite counters, all new furniture. 3. Master bath: (my favorite!) turned a typical track home master bath into a spa. Moved plumbing, moved walls, new everything. 4. Guest bath: turned a tub/shower combo into a large walk in shower with a bench, designed for safety and use by an elderly parent. Incorporated a hall closet for more space, new flooring, all new fixtures and cabinets. 5. Deck: expanded a second story deck and added steps, removed glass and used cable railing, added lights, new outdoor furniture and a built in BBQ with sink. 6.
